PEI's 2026 price has a $10 annual angling licence line plus the Wildlife Conservation Fund amount that matches the angler. Separate those amounts first, then check age, proof, season, and whether the trip is freshwater or tidal.
The current provincial information lists the annual angling licence at $10 plus HST. For most adults aged 19 to 59, the planning number is the $10 licence line plus the $20 WCF amount.
PEI also lists courtesy angling licences for ages 16 to 18 and 60+. Seniors aged 65+ have a lower WCF amount of $13, while children under 16 do not need an angling licence and are exempt from WCF.
Tidal-water fishing does not need a provincial angling licence, but federal seasons and bag limits still apply. For inland waters, compare the PEI price and online buying guide with the current Angling Summary.
For a short family trip, PEI lists the family five-day licence after May 1, 2026 with a $5 WCF amount. Active Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans with the required identification are listed at $0.
